Washington County Student Assistance Program
When schools, parents, students, or social service agencies recognize that a student is at risk for behavioral concerns, they can make a referral to our Student Assistance Program (SAP). SAP provides a Liaison who will work with the schools and that student, the SAP Liaison can screen and refer students to services that best fits their needs.
SAP Process:
With parent or guardian’s consent, your child will be screened by a CCR SAP Liaison.
Mental health screenings are free and conducted during school hours.
Screening results will only be reviewed with the student and family.
The SAP Liaison will then offer recommendations.
If you and your child agree with the recommendations, the SAP Liaison will link you to services.
SAP Services Include:
Screenings for mental health, drug, alcohol, and/or behavioral concerns.
Referrals to community resources and guidance accessing applicable services.
Intervention and/or educational support groups.
Grief counseling and supports for students and staff.
