Behavioral Health Rehabilitation

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) or “Wrap Around Services” are designed for children in the state of Pennsylvania who are between the ages of 2 and 21 and meet the criteria for Medical Assistance. The child must also have a primary psychiatric diagnosis, and be at risk for a more restrictive placement.

The goal of Wrap Around Services is to support the child in his or her natural environment (home, school, community) with behavioral interventions overseen by a Master’s Level Clinician. The intensive short-term services will work to transfer the necessary skills to the primary care-giver, and allow for the child to function with his or her natural supports.

Our Service Coordinators can help initiate a referral for Wrap Around Services and also provide ongoing collaboration between the schools, mental health professionals, and service providers to ensure appropriate services for your child and family.

Check the county listing for the services available in your area.
