Representative Payee
Center for Community Resources (CCR) Representative Payee program serves clients who have been determined incapable of managing their own funds, either by a physician or Social Security. The payees primary function is managing a client’s funds including: Social Security disability, retirement, survivors benefits, or supplemental Social Security income.
CCR in Clarion County offers Representative Payee services as appointed by the Social Security office. A Representative Payee will receive the Social Security or SSI benefits for anyone who can’t manage or direct the management of his or her benefits. The Representative Payee will then use the benefits to pay for the current and future needs of the beneficiary, and properly save any benefits not needed to meet current needs.
